The Duston German Shepherd Dog Training Club (DGSDTC) formed in 1984 is open to all owners of pedigree German Shepherd Dogs, although we do accept GSDs without pedigree papers e.g. dogs that have been re-homed, rescued etc. We have qualified and experienced instructors who will do their best to help you and your dog.
Our aim is to train you to train your dog to be obedient, the level of obedience is entirely up to you. Many of our members come along initially with their dog wanting to achieve no more than a dog who will walk alongside them when out walking, without pulling, always tugging at the lead and to return when called. We have all admired the well-behaved dog in the street, walking nicely by the handler's side. This can be achieved with a lot of hard work, patience and commitment.
